I started in real estate in 1989 in Santa Cruz right after the Loma Prieta earthquake. That was the fast track introduction to learn about property conditions. In a few years we were in a market recession. Within a year and a half of starting my career I was a member of the million dollar club, agents that sell the most home dollars, during one of the most challenging times in real estate. Since then I have sold all kinds of residential real estate and land in four counties. You have heard the phrase "location, location, location" - it's true. California is a great place to own a home and real estate is the best investment you can make if you choose wisely. Trial by earthquake and economy has not changed by view on the belief that what you can touch and live in and enjoy is the best place to put your money - your home.
As a professional the phrase I like to use is "integrity, integrity, integrity." For a buyer or a seller, accurate and complete information about the market, the properties and the economy is critical to successful transactions. Our fiduciary relationship is based on trust and the service that I provide which is individual, thorough and complete. In the last two years I built one of my retirement homes and returned to selling real estate this year to find misinformation and a difficult economy.
